Went this last Sunday and the lake was quite busy, The lake was down and very murkey looking but that's fine. No vegetation pads or grass nothing just trees on the shoreline. I fished the dam and caught 3 white bass in a row , well this lake doesn't have whites , i fished this lake on day one it opened an never herd anyone catching them. There were two boats trolling by the intake along the long point i guess they were trolling for them.

Anyone been out to Gibbons lately?

I caught my first white bass there a few weeks ago. Caught some crappie up shallow and some largemouth. Largemouth have been pretty slow for me but a couple decent sized ones.

Gibbons has tons of white bass now. They first showed up after the first or second year of bad flooding. It’s nothing to catch 50 a day.
