I started this video thinking the Crappie were in Pre Spawn, but now I know they are in full blown spawn. Today we are targeting Large Slab Females and having a ball catching THE GIG GIRLS! Lots of action in this one! The glow baits worked and sticking those big ‘uns. The gar was a surprise. Those are pure muscle and armor not easy to handle. Your Livescope view was as clear as a whistle. I can tell you’re out on the water quite a bit.
You ain’t gonna catch any sittin’ on the couch.

Your Livescope view was as clear as a whistle. I can tell you’re out on the water quite a bit. LOL yes I am out there quite often, 2-3 times a week and more during the summer. Thank you for the complement. I had to reset my livescope settings as that was the first time in 2 years that I did an update. It put everything back to factory settings. It is still not where I want it to be but close. I have to alter it a little to make sure it is good for youtube. You are correct on that gar. The way it was sitting I thought it was a crappie but then decided after it took hold of my jig that it was a catfish. Never would I have thought I had a gar. I was contemplating how to get the dang thing off when he released himself. Those glow baits are amazing. Working on another video now that I did yesterday at noon with them. Thanks for watching and commenting Sir. I appreciate it.

That was a great vid Chris,made better by the fact that Palestine is “my” lake. I’ve logged many hours on that lake but this crappie fishing is pretty new to me. It was good to meet you Wednesday as you were loading up. Keep up the videos !
