From what I know of Bill, being from the same area and fishing against him since he started fishing tournament with his dad, he is an honest to goodness, humble, God fearing family man. What you see is what you get... Congrats Bill... From another River Rat... Dan

I agree, Mark. I enjoyed watching it also and was glad to see him finally win one. Definitely seems like a good guy and family man.

With 43,000+ surface acres, it always amazes me how the cream of the crop always seem to find the same general areas but exploit something a little different to get the win. Congrats to Mr. Lowen, I've enjoyed his association with LurePartsOnline and wish him much future success.

That on-stage pic of he and his two kids and wife all crying was touching, and really tells the story of what a long road it was to get a blue trophy

The story of how Lowen got the financial backing to start a career is a very emotional one.
Lowen seems like a solid dude and I was happy he won!

I like the way he won this event, thought for sure someone below the dam in the current was going to win, if not blow it away.

Always has his family with him cheering him on. Even when he has a poor day. Good to see him get the win.

He seems like a guy that would be fun to spend a day fishing with. Very happy for him.
