Got a letter from the director of Guadalupe Valley Electric Co-Op saying that due to the financial condition of GVEC, the higher bills will be spread out over the next year or so. Plus they only paid up to $9.00 a kwh for the extra power. GVEC is a well operated electric supplier. We never lost power, the first bill after the storm was only slightly higher than normal (which is probably normal). We very rarely have power failures due to GVEC's line maintenance and when we do it's only for an hour or two. I could not have a better supplier. And we only pay $0.10 per KWH, after all taxes and fees are added. Last bill was for 1486 KWH and the total payment was $151.02.

Ours is $212.00 not bad for total elec. house using emer. Heat for 3 weeks, love our Trane units!

We got ours...$167 for the month. Not bad at all considering the circumstances. Our propane bill though....OUCH!

Finally got house 600.... bout 100 more than normal You must have a big house. Or a small house with very bad insulation and inefficient heat.

All electric and mine was $224 and my electricity never went off.

Bill was $32.06 Lol hell the minimum on my rental houses is higher than that. I had one vacant for 2 months last year and with the ac on 78 which is offensive to me, and the fridge on its 72 bucks.

Bill was $32.06 Please explain to me how ANYONE has a $32 electric bill. Discount Power Company_____(348 kwh) .089 per kwh...no other fees...fixed. Contract is up in a few months. We'll see what happens then. I'm not all electric...gas bill was $97
