Picked me out a rifle for my birthday a nice savage .308 . So I started looking for scopes and Jesus I can’t make up my mind I’ve learned more about scopes than I ever wanted to know in the past 2 days . I finally had one picked out a Nikon prostaff 3x9x40 and then figured out Nikon quit making scopes prolly cuz they “woke up” 😑

Throw out your go to for me ! I’m not a freaking sniper . And I make an average wage . So I’m looking for something in the 100-300 dollar range that’s nice and dependable doesn’t fog up in the wee hours of the morning that I can bring home the bacon/ or venison lol

Although I am not familiar with the specific one Hop mentioned, I was also going to recommend the Vortex Crossfite line. Vortex has a rock solid warranty.

Scopes are one item where any extra money you pay directly translates to higher quality. That said, a Vortex optic will almost always be among the best quality items available at any particular price point.

hog hunter is a 56 reticle, mine has held zero for over 4 yrs. now (screwed up and sold the first one on an ar). for the money you can't beat them and the clarity is awesome as well.

green light and red dot reticle is an all night hunt.

I have a NIB (never mounted) Nikon Team Primos 3x9 BDC I'll make you a deal on! It's been sitting in the closet quite a while. The Team Primos has really bright clear glass. Great scope, just never used it.
