Best place to sell a used Gen1 Helix 7 GPS Di? Any idea what they are going for? I installed my new Helix 9 Gen4 Di and I was planning to use the same transducer from the Helix7. Haven't had a chance to test if it works or not. Does anyone know if I'll need a new transducer? I just bought this one last year after cutting the wire in half on the ultrex. Feel like I might since this one is not the Mega.

The transducers are way different. You can't get Side Imaging from a Down Imaging transducer.

You can't even dumb down the Helix 9 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G4N SI unit to use that DI transducer unless the Helix 7 is the G3/G3N MEGA DI model.

So i took it out on the water. I don;t have a Side Imaging unit. The only signal I can get on the Helix 9 Mega Di Gen4 is a 2D signal. So, I am in search of a Mega Di/Si transducer for a Helix 9 Gen 4. (not side imaging)

I misread the unit model, and you just stated a SI transducer for a DI unit.
The connection for DI with the Helix 7 is different than the connection for DI with the larger MEGA DI+ units and the transducers are way different. That difference is why there is a different adapter for the Minnkota built-in MDI transducer for a Helix 7 and the larger units.

These are the DI transducers.
The one on the left is the MEGA DI+ that the Helix 9 CHIRP SI+ GPS G4N uses. It is XM 9 HW MDI T
The middle one is the MEGA DI for a G2N.
The one on the right is just DI for non-MEGA G2N and older DI units.

Sorry you are right, i did say Di/Si, but I MEANT Di/2D ! And yes I need to find myself that larger model. The one on the right is the one I currently have. Thanks for the info.
