I know they shut down their store for in person business and were on line only. Does anyone know if they are back open for face 2 face business?
TIA

Drove down 75 the other day and it did not look good. Most windows where papered up. But that was looking as I drove by on the highway.

I spoke with one of their employees this weekend and he stated they are still not open to the public, but do internet sales.

I miss their in-store spring sale! Got some great deals back in the day.

I remember the days when you'd spend your lunchtime at the tacklestore, HOURS at Smitty's down in Oakcliff shooting the breeze, staying in the loop, spending money. Was another place just past flagpole hill on NW Highway that a Dallas policeman and his wife owned and of course Barlows, the good old days prior to BPS closing all those guys down

I still get excited when I get to poke around one, the thought of finding some small bait that no one else knows about I think is the reason why. Makes me feel like a little kid and I am 50. Pond King up on 82 is about the closest thing that I have found.
See you on the lake and have a great day!

You could definitely have a great time talking with him about fishing and no better person to get info on the local lakes than him. Great memories of those times.

I worked in there while in High School around 40 years ago and ran around with Craig Barlow (R.I.P.). Oh the memories.

Bass Strike in Zavalla has the giant worm bar, I remember when Vernon owned Tri Lakes he had Stanley baits in the worm bar, always bought those.

Nice folks. Hope they are well.

The Bass House - Lake Dallas and Plano Locations had a great hookup with club membership pricing, I bought way too much stuff back in the day. Barlow's always had spinnerbaits, buzzbaits and a big 'ol worm bar and a huge stock of g.Loomis. I suspect he has the windows papered up to prevent people from seeing all the stock, they got broken into alot! The Fishin' Store on Forest Lane that moved out to become Rockwall Marine. Lot's of memories for me in those stores.
