Guys have you ever heard of this. I was fishing Falcon and when running the TM from time to time a catfish would come to the surface and go crazy like it was being electrocuted. Have you ever heard of this issue with a TM? Help...

I was slowly driving over a shallow area looking for fish. When all of sudden I thought I hit a stump, raised engine looking back, and saw what had to be 40lb+ catfish at the surface. My guess is he was on bottom in shallow area and I disrupted him enough to make him come up. I bet the same thing is happening with trolling motors. I don't think its electrocuting them other wise other fish would be effected by this not just catfish.

Not that I'm saying electricity was involved in this case, but it is a fact that fish with scales are much harder to electroshock than fish with just skin. This is why "telephoning" catfish worked so well, but didn't seem to get much result on scaled fish. (Skin is far more conductive that scales.)

By the way, the word you should use in your statement is "affected" not "effected"."
