Seems like a lot of the rod companies are now offering reels. Will the competition make some of the price points more affordable?

nope most of these "new reels" are junk from china just rebranded.

It does appear that many have the same handles and look identical, just different names & colors. As far as price, I think we’ve proven that we’ll pay too much.
