Sunny K had some training to do back in TX so she loaded up the Chevy and trekked out from our DE Base to knock it out and tried some fishing spots along the way! She had a new reel and a rod that I got her but she rarely uses. Also, she decided to try some mono instead of the braid we normally fish with. With all these new factors, hooksets and keeping the fish buttoned up was... let's say adventurous. Hope y'all enjoy the short vid! Like, sub and comment if you can. It really helps me out! Yes indeed! Thanks Chuck! when she went from the braid we normally use to the mono, she really had to start driving that hook set home. It's like going from a tow strap to a bungee cord. Hopefully she's done grabbing the line. Nothing like a hook flying into a body part or a close call to really cement the lesson.
