Side Note: What speed on the retrieve did you use on the Rooster Tail ?

Curtis you and your buddies are living the dream! Solid post and solid fish. Good job guys. Side Note: Love that first picture of that Bluegill Slab getting caught. Are the Bluegill getting ready to spawn at the places you are fishing?

Thanks for the replies. Gitter: We were using a very slow retrieve. We were also using the lure like a jig. When the crappie were outside of the slips and close to the yaks we would simply just lower the lure down and would move it in a up/down motion. That technique works very well. Chuck: The Bluegill are getting ready to spawn. I would guess in about two weeks in the area where we were fishing.

Thanks Curtis. Looks like one of the creeks I am fishing might start a little earlier.
