It all depends on what you are looking for. Most of the pellet grills except for the higher end grills are made in China. I looked at them as well as Traegar, Green Mountain, and Grilla Grill. I would have bought the Grilla Grill if their unit had wifi capability. They were suppose to have it sometime this May and would have sold the conversion kit at cost if you had bought it without wifi. They also have a controller that has two functions. One is holding the temperature steady like the grill you are looking at, and the other mode to vary the temperature so to imparts more smoky flavor to the meat. If you want a more smoky flavor you should check them out. After deciding the US made grills were more than I wanted to spend, I bought the Green Mountain. My wife does not like really smokey flavored meat so that is why I bought a pellet grill. You differently get a light smoky flavor from them. The price point you are looking at, it will be hard for you to get a Traegar, Green Mountain, or a Grilla Grill but the cooking concept should be the same. The only negative I have and I knew that before I bought it, is they don't recommend cooking in the rain.

Right now I am looking at the Z 1000. I was at the BBQ Cook Off in League City yesterday. One guy took 4th place ribs and first place brisket......On a pellet smoker. I didn't catch what brand.
