Circleville country store is about as good as it gets.nothing fancy just a truly great burger. Where is this place at? I see you are in Midlothian, just wondering if I’ve missed something close to me. Crcleville is just north of Taylor on state hwy 95. Sorry for the disappointment but Midlo doesn’t have any outstanding eating establishments. They have some really good fried chicken on Wednesdays too.

Butcher Shop = Longview
Jucy's = Longview Jucy’s hands down is the best listed on this thread. Butcher Shop is meh at best. I will also say Rodeo Goat makes a damn good burger and fantastic chili cheese fries.

Ok I haven’t read the whole thing. But.
I travel the whole state constantly.
And I will chase down a above average burger. Last few pages listed some good’ns for sure. But.
Nothing and I mean nothing has ever equaled the offering at cripple creek in Del Rio. Pound of mesquite grilled ground sirloin on homemade bread. Had a lot of good, some really good but never an equal to that.

Ponder Steakhouse used to be pretty dang good. Haven't been a long time so can't say if they still are. i heard they closed

I’ve eaten a double cheeseburger from the Dam Store by Ray Roberts that would be hard to beat by any burger joint in America. I can’t speak to product consistency, service...etc., but the double cheese I had was outstanding. It was made with hamburger meat, cheese, a bun and some other stuff.
