Ivie didn’t dry up it had some 80’ plus water in it at its lowest . Sure it was mainly river channel but still had plenty of water and cover for those fish . There was plenty of 6-8 lb bass in it at its lowest point. And are you talking Hubbard creek ?

I've only caught 2 fish over 12lbs. One of them was in Ray Hubbard. Caught that fish in August, so who knows how fat she was during the spawn. I got her weight certified at Bass Pro and put her back. I'm sure there are plenty more in Ray Hubbard that hang out on those trees out in the middle of the lake and they probably never see any lures.

I've caught more fish over 8lbs in Ray Hubbard than everywhere else I've fished combined.
