Took a co-worker who had never fished before out to the Trinity River to enjoy this awesome weather. We found a nice bank with a 60 foot deep channel in the middle of the river, and set up camp. Fished with fresh shad, on the bottom. We caught several, including his first catfish ever. Here’s the video, if y’all are interested in that! If any of you live around Austin and are interested in making the trip to a larger river, let me know and we can meet up! - Chase

Wow, 60 foot deep water in the Trinity. Up here in our section of it, we'd be lucky to find a 6 foot deep area.
