We stayed at Naconiche retreat last week. They were right on the water and relatively nice for the price.

I had the Orange cabin last weekend - decent roomy cabin, giant patio out back with a small kettle charcoal grill. Very clean just take your own cookware and utensils if you plan on doing more than grilling. And take some trash bags for your own use.

The other cabin would be hard to navigate / park with a boat trailer.

Staid there 2 weeks ago in an RV. All of the RV folks there are full timers and live there. They seem nice. At the time we went it was super muddy there, but I heard they were going to lay some more rock down to help with that. You can pull the boat up to shore and walk up to the RV sites, that was nice. It's a great view. I would say it was not the nicest place to take my family, but for a straight up fishing trip I would go back I don't think I'm taking the family back, probably taking them back to Eagles Nest RV.

Are these the county (or maybe it’s city) owned cabins?

Naconiche Retreat is privately owned. Nice folks that are interested in the fishing and what their clients/tenants are catching.

Eagles Nest gets my vote every time. Great People. Don & his wife are so helpful. We will be there from Wednesday through Monday come Easter weekend (if we have the RV back from warranty work) Cant wait for this trip, we make it 2 to 3 times a year.

Reality. What a concept!
