Not surprised that day one was postponed. Today is forecast to have the worst winds.
Funny however if someone thinks the high water and current will magically go away over night.
The Tennessee River is big. The water shed is ginormous.
Wilson Dam is spilling now at 160K cfs. Friday forecast is for 190Kcfs and on Saturday, over 200Kcfs.
The lake elevation will be held fairly steady but that's only because they're letting even more water out the other end!
Current will be worst on Saturday and Sunday.

(yes, I have chosen to ignore the troll)

What's interesting about that?
Who do you think it's interesting to?
Please explain your statement.

I'm interested. One of the top few fishermen in the world having to make a decision between the two top professional tours.........Yea, count me as completely interested in how that decision turns out if it has to be made.

If he makes Monday he will pick BASS because he will have a chance at 100K, if it was swapped and he was in the final day of MLF for 100k, he would skip the first day of a BASS event. If he's forced to choose between the two in the future he will pick whatever he can make the more money at and that can be either as it depends on your sponsors, MLF has more events now BASS has better coverage, I don't blame him for trying to fish them all others would like to do the same if they could play nice and coordinate their schedules to allow it like in 2014.

Exactly... I don't see why this is even a discussion.

Whats funny is regardless of his choice, people will read all kinds of things into it. Its obvious Cox does things his way, not a lot of drama there.

Cox is a professional angler. That is how he makes a living. He will always do what he thinks will make him the most money. Which is exactly what he should do

It’s only a discussion because of things like this. just think, if MLF didn’t try to make such a headline out of it, then hardly anyone would be noticing... well, other than how he was chosen over others who finished much higher in the 2020 AOY standings... but that’s another deal they like to be swept under the rug.
