Caught and released a buffalo about 14 pounds last week.

Notice that some areas of its scales are not well aligned. Any ideas what may cause that?

We call them Helix Buffalo. The weird patterns are from scales healing after an injury.

Catch and release. The dream - to catch one of every species of Freshwater fish in our great state! If only I can resist Carp...
