Currently own a 2009 Ranger, bought it new and it’s time to upgrade. Considering a Haynie 24 VLS for fresh and salt. Looking for opinions, pros and cons of the Haynie vs others.

Haynie is a first class hull. It does a lot of things really well.
The ability to drop it in any body of water without fear will be quite attractive.
There’s a lot of other similar boats but none better.

There’s a couple of hulls that do really well in that hybrid world between a bass layout and big bay rigs. If you’re wanting other known good performers I’d look at Majek extreme and the Tran XLR8.

Been on both Haynie and Extreme. If you are looking for something like a bass boat Majek Extreme would be my choice. Wish I could afford one, but having lots of fishing pals is the next best thing!
