OP RODS454 Extreme Angler R Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 1,716 Long Glade Lake	Got out to Navarro Mills for a crappie fix. On the water at 8:00 and off at 2:00. Water temp was 65 degrees and the bite was very good. Ended the day with 55 total, being about equal with dinks and keepers. Only caught one that had the beginnings of spawning colors. Caught fish in 14-22’ of water. Suspended anywhere from 6-16’ on brush and stake beds. Biggest was 1.5 lbs. and had 10 that were at least 1 lb. No giants but pretty fast action. 1/4oz hand tied feather jig in black and chartreuse. I think I need to head up one of the creeks to check on that action. Saw some people up shallow dunking minnows, but didn’t see any of them catching. Y’all go get ya some! "I'd rather be fishing!"
