I'm still working from home and we're having our kitchen remodeled so I've been working in a few different chairs and desk setups which has probably caused this to come up. I thought I've had Sciatic pain before when my lower back issues flare up but apparently I was wrong. It's been pretty consistent since Saturday and I haven't done much about it other than complain.
If anybody else deals with with or has dealt with it, what's worked for you?

Lay flat on your back on carpet, or firm mattress. Slowly lift one knee at a time and pull it into your chest while keeping other leg flat. Pull as tight into your chest as possible and hold for 30 seconds. Then do the same thing on other side. Then pull both knees in at the same time.
Then repeat all three stretches.
It helps if you have someone help push your knee into your chest. Have them press on your hamstring to avoid putting extra pressure on your knees. Push in right up to the point it is painful, then back off until it no longer hurts.

Oh man, I know the feeling. I had it so bad before my back surgery that I damaged my foot somehow. It hurts to walk on hard surfaces. Inversion table, there are real simple stretches you can do. I probably have some printouts but they are probably on the internet. They are so simple you feel like they aren’t doing anything but in the end it is good for you and your core. I have a back brace that I could pump up, it gave me some relief but then again I was also eating like five Vicodin a day before surgery years ago. Your posture when you sit and then don’t always stay in the sitting position. If your doing computer work find a place where you can stand and still do work. Good luck and seriously take care. If you ever find yourself crying and crawling to the kings throne just to pee, let me know, that was my worse

I've finally decided it's not going away on it's own so it's time to try a few things

I have been reading about a miracle drink called Metamucil. I believe it comes in delicious flavored shots. Couple of shots a day flushes the pain away...

I noticed some improvement in my back when I switched from traditional desk to a versa desk. I stand a few hours then sit a few hours. Seems to help.

You probably don't carry your wallet while working at home, but when I had these problems years ago, I started carrying my wallet in the front pocket and it's been good ever since. I still have some back issues but not the sciatica stuff.
and Metamucil couldn't hurt either
Good luck

Hopefully some simple stretches will get it under control. I don't want this to be a new thing!

We have those in the office and I'm sure it won't be long before I go back. But for some reason I just can't work efficiently standing up. Everything takes me twice as long

Good luck I haven't had it on me while working but I always take it out of my pocket when driving. That definitely bugs me

Go see a high quality chiropractor and let him work on your spinal alignment. The other thing I’d say is make it your mission to stretch your glutes, hips, hamstrings, etc. every day. It will make a difference. A personal trainer could help you learn some proper stretching exercises targeting your back and glutes. Best of luck.
