Got somewhat of a late start and I'm glad I did. It took my 6 hours of fighting the wind on that lake to find 2 fish. Finally caught a couple in the afternoon and to my surprise they were white bass. I didn't even know they were in that lake? I would think they'd be in the creek but maybe they're done spawning? Big and healthy for white bass and the second one fought like a largemouth almost. I let them go because I figured the population must be pretty small. Didn't see any largemouth and didn't see anyone else catch anything.

There's also was a grown piranha (1982) and koi from dumped aquariums which been caught there in the past, from what I heard. Someone assassinated the gator, though.... I've also caught sandies there, a few years back.

Lake as a nice population of White Bass!

I didn't know if they've spawned already, that's another reason I let them go.

i have caught whites there along the dam this time of year, which seems odd... trolling white shad raps.
