I have to go to "Snangelo" in 2 weeks. Thinking about taking the boat with me and doing some fishing.
I think Nasworthy might be the best option to catch some fish.

Any West Texans on here that know the waters out that way?

I would say Twin Buttes is a better option for fishing but I haven’t been fishing out there in a few years.

Spring Creek Marina is a great place to camp on Nasworthy but I never caught anything worth mentioning on that lake. If you like largemouth you will be about 60 miles from O.H. Ivie where some guys have been catching big ones.

I was thinking of going after whites and/or catfish. Probably depending on the wind that day will determine what I go after and how.
From what I see so far, Nasworthy is only 15ft or so deep. So I'm banking on some long line drifting or fishing a drop off/edge. Probably just depends on the wind that day.

Yup, Twin Buttes is your best Bet!

Went out 2 weeks ago, water was still in high 40's and low 50's. Been plenty warm out, fishing should be on Fire by Now.. Just haven't gone out cause of work

I'd Tack That!!
