Have heard yall brag on this place for years so I set up an account on Saturday morning and placed my first order. I order 13 bags of the same soft plastic baits and when I placed the order I was told my order would have to be reviewed by someone because of something about it being an excessive quantity or something to that effect. Surely I aint the only one that has ever ordered 13 bags of the same bait before. LOL! The total was a whopping fifty'ish dollars despite them not being the cheapest around so I had to laugh.

Anyway my order was approved and then I get a notice telling me my order will ship on 3/22.....yep 3/22 as in 1 full week from today. LOL! Maybe I missed it but I sure as heck didnt see anything about long shipping delays when I ordered.

Not a big deal but not exactly a great first experience either. Just thought some of yall might want to know about the shipping delays before you place an order.

From what I gather Cali has been a pretty horrible place to try to do business from for over a year because of all the Rona restrictions. It's a shame as they have always delivered excellent customer service before this pandemic. If they survive, I am sure they will get back on track after it is over. Sorry to hear about your experience.

Their shipping times are highlighted via a red link on their home page. It clearly states times based on shipping method. Due to COVID protocols in California they are running a skeleton crew.

OK so it looks like I shouldnt have gotten hooked on the free shipping offer. LOL!
Since that notice was posted on 3/9 I assume these delays are something new.

there and landbig fish get all my business....with TW taking about 80% of that business. Dont even really consider anything else unless I need it today (rare). I have 0 complaints with TW because they have the best site, best and most consistent stock(which is HUGE imo). You ordered 13 bags...I think they usually have "10+" showing as inventory, so I bet it was just a manual override/ok that they need to do when people order quantities over 10 or so....just what Im thinking.

Why dont you call them and ask them why the delay....and maybe see if you are eligible for the $5 upgraded shipping if they are doing it still? They have had amazing customer service every time Ive called them....so good I even guilted myself into keeping a product cuz they were so easy to talk to about issues! LOL

They have updated that notice at least weekly. They give current times each update. Delays have been ongoing since California locked down last spring.

I don't have any problems with ordering from Tackle Warehouse. They do a superb job considering the State of California is run by Demorats.

UPS 2 day air is awesome. Like clockwork. I pay the little extra on every order.

Since COVID I’ve been ordering from LandBigFish.

They need to move the company to Texas.

I couldve sworn I read something about them opening up in....georgia maybe? to help with shipping regionally. not sure if that was in the plans, happening, happened...or shelved due to Covid.

Ya, about the only thing wrong with TW is California.

I paid this for my last order from TW, the order showed up a week later. Went back to TW to give them a chance to make it right and they blew me off. That was the last order I will ever place with them. Their choice not to do the right thing, my choice to spend my money somewhere else.
