It was time and maybe a year or two earlier is when it should have happened. He lost a lot of his skills and another year would have been painful to watch. What a great career!

Heck of run for a guy just 6' and 200 lbs.
First five years in SD were nothing special.
How he lasted that long and competed at such a high level in NO is amazing.

How he lasted that long and competed at such a high level in NO is amazing. Especially considering his recovery from a horrific throwing shoulder injury that would have ended the career of 95% QBs
