I showed my girls YouTube clips of Child’s Play when they were little. The tame scenes of Chucky running around behind the sofa, etc. Never had to buy them dolls after that.

Looked for soda bottles to get the 5 cent deposit.

Back in high school, three of us got kicked out of the drugstore for doing this. We'd have never got caught if the girl with us hadn't caught her britches on fire.

my mom would listen to the radio all the time in the car , she loved listening to the SF Giants games . I thought if they were truly GIANTS , how come they didn't win all the time ??
Then I went to my first Giants game in person , got to meet Willie Mays and confirm that YES , he was GIANT . Hated the Dodgers ever since .

We used to find yard darts when the lake would go down. Since they were so deadly and had been banned, they were now illegal and that just holding one we could go to jail. I wish I knew where those went, I imagine just got thrown out into deeper water...


Did you also tie a rope to a belt loop and try to swing out of trees. Cause we did that too.

I used to think all the stunts in movies were real. I figured they found some guy that was poor and paid a lot of money to his family so they could throw him off a cliff or shoot him on camera.

Oh and props on meeting Mays that... that is super cool. No Giants fan at all but they have had some great players and are a storied franchise... that lately is a dumpster fire.

I am not sure the 5th best , they have some very interesting pitchers that should really help . I hope they get rid of Posey and Belt --- then let the rebuilding begin .
On meeting Willie Mays -- I was like 9 yrs old --- he was in the players parking lot after a Dodgers game at the Stick , asked him to sing one of my baseballs , he then took me around every player from both teams and helped me get about 30 autographs --- Giants fan for life after that
