65 yrds with #9 would be non lethal but it might piss them off. what kind of pellet gun?
Don't remember . It's one that you have to break the barrel down in order to [censored] it so I was always worried about it knocking me out .  It's extremely accurate but I can't say the same for myself . Can't believe that was censored . It's not like we were talking about a penis .  You may not have been, but I can guarantee that Derek was.
Team wolfs I had to perform. It took a minute to get it all in my mouth and another five to swallow it all.

For the record the .410 should shoot as far as a 12 gauge . The 2.5" shells should shoot like low brass on bigger shotguns. Like folks are saying a shot into turf should be safe.
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

Get a single shot .22 and use sub-sonic rounds.
That's what I did, and it mades less noise than a pellet gun. Still didn't work. There are way more squirrels than rounds of ammo.
I finally gave up and just started to feed them. I have four permanent residences. Those four seem to keep the others at bay. So, all-in-all it's a win-win.
