Me too. Tomorrow maybe, Wednesday for sure at Fayette. Next week Im hauling my boat to my buddies house on Toledo Bend/Sam Rayburn. His boat has a blown engine so I guess he is desperate to have me or at least my boat haha. Wants me to stay and fish for a week.

I will definitely do a post and hopefully some pictures. I really enjoy fishing Fayette and once the blue gill quit [censored] footing around and start to take getting caught seriously, it will be hard to get me going someplace else. I like the bass fishing but I dont know if its just me but Fayette is starting to fish like Bastrop. Still nice numbers but a lot of small fish. All the years that I have fished it, a large majority of the bass I caught were always in the slot limit. For awhile I have noticed that most of the fish are below the slot. A limit of bass to take home from Fayette is almost guarantee where just a short time ago I would have struggled to catch them under 15 inches. Just my observation.
