All I can say go get on any lake you can and start on the north side. It’s on like donkey Kong and it’s hammer time. JS.

It’s not on in north Texas. The lakes are simply still too cold. There might be a few shallow but it’s certainly not in any big numbers.

Several limits being caught yesterday shallow in North Texas. They are there you just have to spend time searching and know where to look. Don't listen to those saying they aren't shallow yet in numbers.

Don't listen to those saying they aren't shallow yet in numbers. Welp, that’s the thing, is where do you look? Fishing is rewarding when you find them and catch them. The tough days will bring discouragement. I guess you need more than 11 months of experience or a fish dog that could sniff em out.
