This is a 1986 40 HP Johnson. You can see where it is leaking and running off onto the motor support. Curious what is causing the leak and if this is a job I could do with basic tools. Thank you.

Pull the cowling off the motor and look around with all the oil stains you might have a fuel leak going on? Running down the crank through the lower unit housing.
