Despite the democrat mantra that "all women must be believed", it took a full 3 weeks or more after the first accusations before even the first dem lawmaker uttered a peep. No mentions at all on CNN for weeks.

Now they're all full-on demanding he resign. So what changed? Did he go over the allowable number of assaulted women for liberals to ignore? Oops...one too many! I guess they call that "The Clinton Line".

He never went over the number of elderly to kill, so I don't know what that number is. Maybe a liberal can chime in and tell us.

I don't think all is as it seems with this. I think they suddenly realized they just found their scapegoat for the upcoming NY budget crisis. Enough money has left NY in the past year to bankrupt most countries. Tax revenues for the next 10 years are going to be way down, and they're going to have to either massively cut services or risk driving more business out with huge tax increases. They'll blame Cuomo for years to come. That's all this is, at least from that side of the aisle. Someone had to be sacrificed so the rest of them could shift the blame.

FWIW - There are several NY State Democrats that have publicly called for him to resign.

Today's politicians are simply that - politicians. They are NOT leaders! All of them, to a tee, are addicted to power and completely corrupt. They want to keep us as their underlings - there was a reason Obama referred to us as "folk" (originating or traditional with the common people). They think themselves as royalty and we their loyal subjects.
They have usurped the powers granted by the Constitution and now believe they rule us all.
We, the people, need to take that power back and give it back to the states where it belongs.

Sorry, I digress. If today's politicians were true "public servants", they should hold themselves to higher standards. Too often, they all protect their own, so as not to allow their Party to be sullied. Their salaries should be so meager that they would look forward to retirement at 62, 65, 67, just like us "normal" people. Their positions and power are so attractive that many continue to "serve" into their 80's. They are all out of touch with us normal people - regardless what they say, they DO NOT understand the wants and needs of the American people. Their focus is on whatever makes it easier for them to retain and increase the power they hold over us.

And today's young'uns, having received shoddy educations, allow the politicians to usurp more and more control from the states and from the people.

This is one time the left hasn't dismissed it. Compared to the numerous incidents in which What's-His-Name has been involved and ignored by his party when it came out, this is amateur stuff. Cuomo needs a lesson from the master.

Now they went silent. Initially I figured he was done but as more time passes I bet he finishes this term and quietly goes away. They won't cancel one of their own.
