My 09 Dodge Ram is misfiring on cylinder 5, and my mechanic is small time, does not have the special tools he thinks will be needed to repair. I don't want to go to the dealer because they inflate everything...

Anyone know of any good mechanics in the Fort Worth area that can work on 2009 Dodge engine? (Possible Cam shaft, lifter adjustment, rod replacement... thinks of that nature?)

Have you tried running some Seafoam thru it to see if it cures the hiccup?

You might be better off just getting a new engine if you’re having to talk about that type of work.
