I got Active Target on my boat. I’ll teach y’all what I know for $200 an hour. So like $37 should cover all you know. Plus a breakfast sandwich? He would be over paying with just the breakfast sandwich Probably. But, if he wants to run the trolling motor all day, I’d settle for just letting him buy me breakfast and take me fishing.

He can sure catch them. I want to learn how he is able to convince customers to pay to watch him fish. Brilliant! Dude he's basically a Livescope "teacher" and not a "fishing guide" as you would normally think. I know 3 people that have gone with him this year. They all 3 drove from Kansas to Oklahoma and paid $1000 each. I think they maybe caught 5 fish between the 3 of them and every single one of them said it was some of the best money that they had ever spent in their lives. There's a few at Fork that have done the same thing. One went to Grand to fish with him. Said he dropped the boat in and never fired up the big motor. But said they didn't catch $hit! But he did learn how to use livescope better. Which, that was the purpose. I'd be more impressed with his numbers if it was not with livescope. Like Ive said before, its not fishing. Its like Im playing Xbox with my kids! But congrats to the man still.

How many people would admit to spending $1,000 as a waste of money though? I'll admit it , I bought an Active Target instead of a Live Scope...

My only problem with it is you have a tendency to set the hook just a bit too early cause you expect the bite when they move in on your bait.

I say congrats to him and hats off. I know one of the guys that paid to fish with Mr Jones. The guy that booked that trip has caught more DD bass and had more giant fish experiences than anyone I have ever heard of. Even so, he was on the phone and wanting to learn how to use this gentleman’s technique and knowledge. I feel the same way. I’m ready to learn something new. It is also a huge advantage if used to its potential at the right time-chess vs checkers is right-maybe on the magnitude of thermal scope for hunting at night. I fish for enjoyment only so I’m interested to see if I ENJOY it as much as sight fishing or top water fishing. That’s just personal preference though. I’m pretty sure I still enjoy catching a DD using any technique.

Catching crappie with LS is completely different than hunting down largemouth with LS. But if you think it’s just as easy, we might be able to make a little wager on it???

I watched the guys using it a couple days. They were looking down staring at the screen all day. Not really my cup of tea for reasons for going fishing. Looked a lot like my kids playing fishing on the WIi. Never looking up at the lake until the fish was at the boat. If that’s what it takes to catch them I guess I’m out. I go to the lake to have fun and enjoy the time there.

I’m listening.... $1k that you can’t catch a 10 pound Lmb with livescope. You can have the entire day, 1 day (daylight to dusk) only since it’s sooooo easy. Must be on video and show the date & time on your phone when you start fishing and have the catch on video, then show the date & time on the phone again. Oh and has to be artificial bait. If the long haired hippie can catch them by the bushels, you can catch 1 little ol’ ten pounder, right?

For sure I could. Let me fish 7 days a week. That’s what he’s doing. But news flash....he’s not catching a 10 a day. Can I yo-yo an A-Rig?
