Motorquide quick connect lock

I would like to what Motorquide was thinking when they designed the retaining clip.. All they had to do was move the lock hole to the outside of the bar.

I figured it out. I pulled the bar and lifted motor up. I put the lock through the hole from bottom and dropped motor back down. I padded the bottom of lock with fuzzy side of velcro. ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2021/03/full-6989-88539-20210312_104921.jpg)
