There's only one reason to go to this lake- convenience. It's only 10 or 15 minutes from work and maybe 20 minutes to get home afterwords. If you want big fish or a lot of fish, don't go here. You will have to work very hard to find any and they will most likely be tiny. This is the only lake I ever caught as many plastic bags as fish That said I did manage to catch three, one about 5 inches, one about 7 and the last one was around 8-10" which felt like a whopper!

Inner city lakes and ponds get a "TON" of fishing pressure. They also get TRASHED ! Several great places to fish in the area have since been POSTED NO TRESPASSING due to the TRASH people are leaving behind. I know two other good spots that will be POSTED NO TRESPASSING and fenced off by the end of the month due to people leaving trash behind. Property owners are getting sick and tired of cleaning up the mess people are leaving behind. Due to the Covid Virus more and more people took up fishing resulting in more people going to the water bodies in the area. Thank GOD I have plenty of places to fish that are private where I can fish anytime



Side Note: I do take a trash bag with me and always pick-up trash at places I fish at where trash is left behind.
