Spent the day on Fayette last Saturday 3/6 w/ my dad that drove in from Houston.

Was a tough start from 7-10am with brisk temps in the 50s and high winds. Probably caught 5-6 fish during that time. As the day progressed the winds subsided and we found our stride and ended up ~30 bass fishing a mix of neko rig trick worms, Carolina rig brush hogs, and Tx rig brush hogs. All in flooded timber in 8-10 ft of water. Green pumpkin colors all around. Water temps 65-67 degrees.

My second time on this lake and had a great time. Hope this is helpful for you fellow fisherman.

Good post Husky, thanks for the update. Had to cancel our trip for this weekend because the RV wonโ€™t be ready. We may make a day trip on Sunday to either Fayetteville or Raven. Going to Naconiche & Kurth in April for 5 days. We do that trip twice a year and it is always a great time fishing n camping.

Reality. What a concept!
