Glad it isn’t just me.

I’ve fished Hubbard for many years and usually have a good feel for where they are hanging before the push shallow but not this year......was it the freeze ? Did it send em running for the depths ?

Fished Houston County friday from 8 to dark. Caught 9. Biggest around 3 3/4 or so. Could only get bit dead sticking a senko. Absolutely HATE fishing that way.

Fished my little oxbow lake Saturday from 3 till 6 caught 6 biggest 4.5. Flipping a lizard up near the bank.

I think this weekend lakes are going to bust wide open.

Best day of the year for me on Saturday. No monsters, but caught 11 for the day, 5 of which were between 4 and 5 lbs, 2.6 was the smallest, on Monticello. Most were caught slow rolling a 5xd over rock in 4 to 10 feet of water. Subtle bite

That place is still magical.. from a couple of weeks ago. Caught a few in the pad stems but water was really stained from dying vegetation.

Fished Bridgeport on Saturday for about 7 hours. Had a good bag by the end of the day (first fish was a lil over 7) had 3 fish come unbuttoned; 8 total bites. So it’s for sure a lil’ better than last weekend but still pretty tough. Didn’t have multiple bites in a single area all day.

I dont exaggerateI just remember BIG !!!

Fished TTO at Fork on Saturday. Had 3 keepers, lost or missed another 3, and two slot fish (5 &7.5). Went to Hawkins on Sunday and caught 8-9 fish. Best 5 went around 17-18lbs. Things should get really good this week.

Worked on the boat all day Saturday and until 2:30 on Sunday but finished the day with some fishing and caught 3 decent fish on Lake Conroe.

Glad it wasn't just me then. I fished JCO on Fork on Sat and Sun. It was a grind both days. We had 4 keepers Sat, and I had 3 yesterday although I couldn't stick a hook in one yesterday morning to save my life
