I am going to install a 2D transducer down in the sump inside the boat at the back. What are you guys using to mount this thing down? I would assume that some kind of epoxy but not sure which one.
Thanks

A 2 part slow curing epoxy is what I have always used.

when putting one on a kayak I was instructed to make sure "no bubbles" in epoxy.

I used two part JBWeld epoxy. Slow curing. Make a good size puddle and push, squish, wiggle the transducer down. The slow curing will help to eliminate bubbles. You want zero bubbles. The air trapped in them will make the transducer lose effectiveness.

Been many years since I installed a xducer but if it is a Lowrance back then they furnished the recommended epoxy.

I have mounted several using PC7 epoxy. It is a putty type and not as prone to air bubbles. Whatever you use stir it slowly. The expoxy that Lowrance use to supply is also a putty.
