In this pic there is a 11-12 lb bass on a bed. You can’t see her but I spent 5 hours today trying to get her to commit and bite. 5 hours later I left disappointed. Private lakes don’t make them easy. I tried everything I could think off short of a castanet. It’s still fishing

High Fence let you fish for her unmolested.

On a public lake you may never have seen her if 20 other fishermen pestered her.

Private is definitely easier!

If you can see her, she can see you.

try staying back a long cast away...crouch down so she can't see you....rig a senko wacky style and drop in her bed....shake your rod enough to make the senko wiggle but stay in her bed....this staying back a long way has worked well for me...seems big bass are lot easier to catch if they can't see you....

Let me go get my Costas from the boat. I’ll find her.

Did you try asking if she was even hungry? Some times women just want to be heard and listened to. Try it next time 🤔

Lots of reasons why she wouldn't bite for you. Maybe just come back tomorrow. They were acting weird today. Most spooked if I was anywhere near them but let them settle down from a distance and or letting the male bite was working.

I have heard from some old timers that placing a slit in your soft plastic & inserting a piece of alka seltzer in the slit will provoke them to bite. Anyone else ever heard of this?

You have to get her mad. Bump into her, & run into her side. Then let it sit on the bed. She will pick up the bait and move it off the bed.

Don't forget an A rig paired with it. One of those hooks is bound to get her.

A-rig, livescope, sure don't work well while standing on the bank looking out 3 feet.
