Take a look at the Champion 7500 dual fuel
I have the regular gas one, and it worked great two weeks ago

The portable power station I’m charging with solar power is the Ecoflow Delta

The solar panel on the vehicle avoids any HOA permission and appeases any better half issues with house roof aesthetics. Also great for camping/fishing trips.

You can also charge the Ecoflow from AC and DC or another battery/inverter or even a gas or dual fuel generator.

The Ecoflow has a pure sine wave inverter—what modern electronics prefer.

That’s a good setup cctx. I need to run wire so I can connect my solar panels to the travel trailer while it’s in the garage and use it’s inverter.

With solar, the MPPT solar charge controllers manage the current from the panels really well.
There is a self contained very good one in the Ecoflow Delta.

If running to a pre existing inverter/battery system, place an MPPT charge controller between the panels and the battery(ies) and inverter. The bigger the array of solar panels, the higher the amp rating of MPPT charge controller you will want.

So what are you able to power with that size of a panel?

The panel charges the battery.

The battery and inverter is rated to 1800 watts continuous 3300 Watts maximum
Primarily will be used to run laptops and desktops

The gas generator does the heavy lifting.

Can also charge the Ecoflow delta with AC or DC or 12volt or another battery. Very versatile.

Had to reposition above crossbars
Solar panels with all these little solar cells are all in a series, so if one cell gets significant shade, the entire panel has the power of the least powerful cell (like old school Christmas lights)
