Anybody know if they have moved shallow yet? Headed to the mouth of the river to poke around in my bew friends boat next weekend. Any tips appreciated!

Yes they are heading shallow. Fished around Hi-Line near the big town of Tow and they were anywhere from 5 to 8 feet down but heading shallower and with the warmer weather especially in the evenings they'll be there. Heard reports of better fishing up river but those folks had to contend with a mixed bag as there are plenty of sandies that way. There are also tons of sand bass gorging on shad in the lake too. Females of both species are full of eggs and few of the males are starting to color up pretty good.
