Weather is supposed to be nice this weekend so I am going to try and take the float tube out for the first time this year. Just put new line on the reels and reloaded my supply of Bobby Garlands. Dont know if the crappie and gillls are active yet but there is only one way to find out. I have a hankering for some fried slabs.
Next weekend is the beginning of Spring Break so I will head to my beloved Lake Athens then. Let the good times roll!

Meredith was a bust. Looks like early March isnt good for the gills. Water was really cold. When I got out of my tube I couldnt feel my feet
