Any Recommendations for boat insurance? What are y’all seeing as an average per year?

I'm paying around $460.00 also with Progressive. Been with them for years. About a month ago I hit a submerged object and broke drive shaft, bent prop shaft and prop. It was the first claim I ever made and they were prompt, courteous, and completely hassle free. Paid my $500.00 deductible and was back on the water within 3 weeks with a new lower unit.

96 Champion - $274 per year - Ski Safe
02 Pontoon -$217 per year
$500 deductible

Have had them on both boats for a long time

Just repaired fiberglass ($2900) on the bass boat
Have never filed a claim on the pontoon.

They treat me awfully well.

I bet they do, you pay in for years and years and have filled one $2900 claim. You're the perfect insurance customer

I have Progressive (through USAA) and it's $900 a year but I have maxed out coverage and minimized deductibles. I have never had to file a claim but have always heard the service is pretty good.

Quick math - I have paid in roughly $4145 over 9 years.
They have paid out 2900.

Pretty cheap on my end considering I use my boats 200 times per year or so.

Maybe not but Ski Safe would be my recommendation regardless.

Have progressive through Bob @ worldwide.
Would never have them on my auto but they are on point for boats, etc. Have had 2 claims and they were easy and quick.
