I have a HDS 9 on the front of my boat right now looking to add either a 9 or 10 inch garmin up there with it mainly just for Livescope. Which units should i look at?

Cheapest you can get is the $599 93sv on sale. It’ll work, but you’ll probably end up wanting a bigger screen. (If you learn how to use livescope anyways).

But I have 20/20 vision. It’s great. Shows absolutely everything, in the same resolution as a bigger screen. All the processing is done in the interface box.

How about the Echo series? Anyone tried these as of yet? And I assume none of you are using the Garmin for mapping so don't need to buy that series.

There seems to be a video out there that breaks down panoptics vs livescope seems livescope has better detail but u dont get the range that the panoptics gives you.
