My Legend got a serious interior make-over at a place down near Fairfield. Its a good drive to go get it and I am anxious to take it out and get the new carpet and seats all dirty. I've only been to Fairfield once. Anyone been this week with a water temp update? Fish biting? I assume since its grass that a chatterbait and a trap will run me into a fish or two? Any help is appreciated.

May be hard to fish your trap depending on height of grass. Haven't been since the freeze, but if they aren't hitting your chatterbait, try a jerk bait or fish outside grass lines with a drop shot or wacky in scattered grass.

Great guy for Legend owners named Chris Kocher. He used to be at Legend and had tons of insight and parts for mine. I’m sure he does other boats, but he really knew his stuff on my 2005 LE21. He did some wiring, live well work, new dash, new seats, new carpet, and more. He’s on Facebook under Van Kocher

Streetman? Can he rewire the keypad with rocker switches or elevator buttons if the keypad goes out? I’ve got a Legend and been paranoid if/when the brain dies I am going to be SOL due to lack of parts.

Was there last Saturday - water temp was 49-51 in most of the lake - heard it was up to 54 in the north end. Fishing was tuff for a tournament with the 18" limit - 27 people only 4 fish weighed in but all but one were caught on red rattletrap the other on chatterbait. We caught several just not 18" - kayak tournament the same day and heard several of them caught some.
