There is a Guide/Captain out of I believe Galveston that passed in late summer. I don't think he posts here but I have seen his name come up as a recommendation on who to use.

I lost my brother 5 weeks ago. He was hard headed. When we got him to the hospital he had Covid, Flu A& B and pneumonia. Within 2 days he was in ICU and on a ventilator. I honestly think he knew he was going to die with what he said before he went to ICU. 2 weeks later we took him off life support and 15 minutes later he passed. His wife died 7 months before Charlie. They were together since high school. I honestly believe his wish was to be with her.

I had a neighbor at my place on Sandlin that died of Covid last October. He was not a TFFer, just a nice old guy.

Lost a friend who I met five years ago. Fished with him this past December. He passed away this last January. He spent three weeks in the ICU. Two weeks on a ventilator. His body had to much to handle and gave up. Jesus Christ called him home!



Side Note: On a brighter side another friend of mine had Covid and he spent 2 months in the hospital. One month in the ICU which included 7 days on the ventilator. He made a full recovery with no damage done to his body due to the virus. He said words cannot describe how bad he felt during the time he was sick.


Side Note: Neither were members of the TFF.

My condolences to everyone. A cousin of ours died of covid she was also in ICU. She left behind 3 children.

We've lost a couple people at work who I know, but we have 6,000 employees so it's a pretty low percentage.

I have a neighbor who has lost 4 people he knows to it, and he doesn't know that many people. Sad stuff...

We have a small choir at our little country Baptist church with about 15 members in it. 11 came down with it in November while they were working on a Christmas program, one didn't survive (Choir director's wife) and one is still in a long term acute care facility but is able to communicate with her family. The others recovered.

Step-Mother passed Feb. 14 due to Covid.

Mother in Law passed Feb 4 due to covid. She was 88.
