Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts. We went in thinking it was going to be about a 3hr surgery, and there was a possibility the hole was too large and would require opening him up. They were done in just a hair over 1, with great news that the plug should hold just fine. He's in pretty good spirits, so we're in good spirits. Thanks for the update and good news! Cute kiddo - glad to hear he's on the mend.
Worst day of my life was when doctors told us that my daughter (our oldest) had a hole in her heart - my wife was about 22 weeks pregnant if I recall. Turns out the sonographer was wrong and she was fine, but I can't imagine the stress of living through that for weeks/months/years. I will continue praying for you guys, and my kids have been too.

Looks like prayers have been answered! Good luck keeping the little guy off his feet. I have a five year old grandson and I can't imagine trying to keep him from jumping around.

So glad the surgery went well and he is on his way to recovery. Patriot07, glad you daughter didn't have any problems. Our twin boys were 10 weeks premature and the second one out was also the smallest and he had a hole in his heart. At 1 week they did open heart surgery thru the side of his chest. Heart wise he is fine, but has to be on antibiotics for any major dental work or other surgery. They will be 35 years old this year, so glad they can do these procedures without opening kids up now.
