This got a lot more traction than expected. All good responses and some pretty funny ones. They had a bbq boat on travis for years that delivered to party coves and yeah you guessed it, scantily clad girls delivered.

i wouldn't mind a dude delivering tacos....unless the tacos were sausage wraps, then im out!

I didn't lose him at the boat. I shook him off cause I didn't want my hands to get "fishy"

Many lakes in Alabama and Georgia have at least one floating roach coach that anchors out in the middle of the lake near high traffic areas.
Usually a house boat looking pontoon boat with full kitchen. They'll have a "drive through" rail on one end for pickups and a phone number you call to place an order.
They seem to do a bang up business most summer days.
See "Nibblers Floating Grill" on Lake Martin.

You might intend to just have a cooler with pre-made foil wrapped food. (?)

Your idea will work... Bought everything from ice cream to burgers to mixed drinks on the water in FL and the islands. This is the coolest place I have been to on the water.

Lewisville, Travis, Texoma aka party cove lakes or fork would be the best option. In N TX it would be highly seasonal. But go for it. I would try and if food is good and reasonable price would come back. I stop and buy gas station tacos at times..

I thought the same thing about 20 years ago. A food pontoon on holidays.

There was a Snack Shack at the Hwy. 11 ramp on Sandlin last year. Don't know what they offered, or quality.

They set up an ice machine a few years ago. I don't think it worked very well. It sat out there in the sun and melted the ice.

I'm glad there are wine drinkers in this world ..... it saves more beer for the rest of us.

Set up a stand at the ramp and sell waypoints.

If they would go get the truck, back the trailer in, and pull me back up to the parking lot I would be in for that! cheers

for the record its never something i would do. i dont have that much drive, but it sure is nice to think about on those days when i get hungry on the water...especially the part about the barely dressed delivery girls

I've thought about this very thing but always had one nagging thought. If you sell the food wrapped in foil, paper, and Styrofoam containers what would become of the trash once finished. I know most anglers/boaters are responsible enough to store properly and dispose of once on shore but there are those few who just don't care. There is enough trash in and on our lakes now. I just did not wish to contribute more to a growing problem.

I think this is called door dash. Just put the ramp address as the delivery address and in the notes say you’ll be there in a boat. Then you can order whatever you want.

My best friends wife wants to serve pizza from a pontoon boat at lake Texoma, I told her to cruise around the islands and she would find lots of folks with the munchies, especially over on the OK side.

There is a place in Illinois called Blarney Island which caters to boaters. It's an on the water "island" that you can pull up in your boat (or they do run a shuttle service to). You can drink, they have a full service restaurant, they have music there. The Fox Chain of lakes they are on is a network of 15 connected bodies of water in northern Illinois. I just notice on their website they have now added a helipad. I have not been there in at least 25 years. Looks like they are still going strong!

Easiest thing to do is carry a can of viennies or sardines and some crackers, A few soda waters helpd, too.

Biden famously said in the New York Observer, “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”
