I love my 7โ€™6โ€ Duckett Micro Magic Pros in MH. They are soft enough that I can cast a weightless senko, but enough backbone for good hook sets.

I think mine's 7'3", and a Ghost, but I agree. Don't under power, especially if you TXRig weightless!

Falcon Cara Weightless Worm or Falcon Cara Finesse Jig. I use the Weightless for wacky and the finesse for weightless or light weight Texas rigged.

What is your budget?

I like a 6'2"-6'6" medium action rod. The shorter length gives you more accuracy up close in the brush and around docks. A fine wire round bend hook will have no problem penetrating a soft senko bait. My current rods are castaway, falcon, dobyns and Loomis.

That said I have caught more fish including a 10+ on a cheap spinning rod with 10 pound braid when fishing a Senko.

This is what I use, but prefer the older full handle rod.

Same here. I use that one for Texas rigging weightless and the 6โ€™10โ€ โ€œshaky headโ€ rod for wacky rigged.

My favorite is a Dobyn's DC 703C with an old Castic reel. I've used it so much most of the paint on the reel has rubbed of.
