Did you ever figure out if you could? I've banked fish around that area it looks like it holds nice fish.

No I did not. I have caught some bass from one spot from the bank and walked a ways and saw some spots where you would have to get out and walk, but I bet right now with all the rain we have had, you could float it. Would be muddy, but you could right now I bet. We should try haha

Another option to consider is launching a yak at Highland Park on Lavon and paddling North to the mouth of Wilson Creek or East Fork. Both empty in to the lake in the same area. Could be worth trying to locate some good white bass action.
